My name is Kate. I was reminded a few weeks ago I had registered for this course but done nothing.
I have had epilepsy for nearly 20 years, but until I moved to Hull I knew nothing. My Epilepsy Consultant told me nothing only that it wasn’t due to my brain haemorrhage.
When I moved to Hull I started going to Epilepsy Action and through talking to other people I found out about Epilepsy. Since I have been talking to people Want to find about partial seizures, as I think I have been suffering from them.
I have a genetic where epilepsy is very common, particularly Complex Partial Seizure.
I am waiting to see a Clinical Psychologist to see if my memory loss is to do with NF1, Epilepsy or my Brain Haemorrhage. I also want to know whether I have problems caused by ADHD or Aspergers, which can also be linked to Epilepsy.
