After week 4 i am becoming more aware of my strengths and weaknesses when i travel or go out. It has allowed me to understand what i can do to keep my quality of life regardless of health issues and feel more confident doing more things. I realised i already have a structured risk assessment plan in mind subconsciously when making decisions but to write it down lets me know why i am so stressed about specific activities or places. I have had problems just walking my son to school recently and by changing my route it is now quieter and more peaceful also seeing nature and trees allows me to feel at ease and my trips have become a lot less risky. This makes steps to do more things. Around my home i have a care phone installed but by checking all appliances and switchers are off before i go to bed i reduced the risk of me forgetting things and felt more in control. i cut out caffeine in the mornings so i can eat a bigger breakfast which definatley helps. I accidentally feel asleep in front of the fire last week and almost triggered myself by overheating so i constantly have cartons of cold water to hand or in my fridge to keep hydrated, this helps me keep my body temperature balanced and is good to help detox when i am not well.
