Hi, My name is Carol. I was diagnosed with epilepsy 35 years ago when I was a teenager and managed it by sticking my head in the sand. I was very lucky and within 6 months I was very well controlled. This went on for 34 years only having 5 (all be it multiple) seizures. Each one due to not taking my AED’s correctly. Until this year and I have now had 2, unexplained seizures within 6 months. I joined the course to learn more about how to control my emotions around how I feel,as I don’t seem to have any triggers I feel unable to help myself and find this difficult to deal with. Having lost my driving licence I am having to rely on others to ferry me around (not something I am enjoying).
