Found this unit really hard, in terms of being emotionally difficult to work through hence it took me longer than I hoped to complete.
This is the first time I’ve read what tonic clonic seizure actually means, I know I have this diagnosis and I’ve been told bits of what happened when I had my seizure (I can’t remember as I ended up in a coma). However reading it now I find it really scary, I dont want to speak to my wife about it (happened two years ago) as I know it upsets her as well.
My goal is to talk about my condition with my team in work, people know little bits but I’ve never been open about it and I think it would be good for my colleagues knew what to do if I had a seizure or someone else did – hence may ask if they want to do the first aid course.
