I have always had a good relationship with my neurologist then he retired!!! But he hand picked the next Dr I got and I have always been happy with the 2 way conversations we have. I have had lots of med changes over the last few years and still weening off one, so I have always been listened to re side effects etc. if it helps, make a short list of things you want to discuss – there is nothing worse than leaving the room and realising you haven’t covered something important!
I am able to phone his secretary or specialist nurses at hospital between appointments if I have a problem or query.
