This week was really helpful. I thought I knew everything (at least the key things) about these topics, but wow was I wrong. I had no idea that lack of activity can make you tired. I always thought that was true only when you’re so deeply depressed that you can’t get out of bed. I have most of the emotional and behavioural signs of stress, but I knew those and have already been trying so hard for so long to address them. Now my plan for the week is to try very gently to start getting some exercise. I used to cycle up to 150 miles every week, and when I had to stop I bought a rowing machine (less far to fall, ha ha), but the first day of using it after adding eslicarbazepine to my Keppra and Clobazam, I did my regular half-hour on the 3rd easiest setting in the morning, then was so exhausted I slept for the whole rest of the day and night! That was probably a year ago, and the best I’ve managed is brisk walks into town etc. But that’s not nearly the same. I’m going to get back on the rowing machine, just 10 minutes on the lowest setting, and see if I can find something that works for me. Hopefully that will make all the other issues slightly easier to deal with, over time. Thank you!
