Hello, i’m Dan from South London I have had asleep seizures for about 16 years, my seizures are predominately controlled but I occasionally still have them.
I was involved with Epilepsy Action some years ago on the committee for a local epilepsy branch, I was also involved in organising a one day London event for young people with Epilepsy.
Due to work commitments I lost touch with the epilepsy branch which has since closed for reasons unknown to me.
I have had some ups and downs over the years through the ignorance of work colleagues and employers with my epilepsy. I hope that as a AV I can reduce the daily challeneges having epilepsy brings by educating people and organisations.
