I have just read your reply Anne, it is sad reading about your experiences at work. After reading the advice and guidance in this most recent module perhaps, with the legal rights under the disability act and the equality act, someone in a similar position to you would be protected. I also think you have managed to find something positive to hold onto and returning to doing the hobbies that you had not done for such a long time.
My NHS post was made dendundant 4 years ago and I have struggled to find another job although I do some paid teaching and do lots of voluntary work. I think having epilepsy does have an impact on being able to find work. Not being able to drive is significant. However I am determined and have possible work plans in action. The advice from this module I am mostly aware of, but it is useful to pay more attention to the detail of it.
