hi Dave,
Glad to hear you’re feeling the benefits of pedalling too. In fact in a moment of madness i signed up to do the Fred Whitton route in the lake disctrict. 112miles 6 major lakeland passes more than 13000ft of climbing. so i’m training hard right now. I honestly feel my seisure threshold improves the fitter i am.
Regarding meds i don’t vary. I take 400mg slow release tegretol 1xdaily at the same time each day. I find this med much smoother than standard release or generic carbamazepine. this took many years to learn & i did this at my own risk and i don’t recommend changing meds without guidance from a clinician.
What about you Dave? What meds do you take? When were you diagnosed?
Cheers,
Nick.
If i do have a bad day i’ll keep an additional tablet on me for back up and try to take a rest.
