Hi Nick,
I was diagnosed when I was 17 and my daily medication is 1200mg Tegretol slow release and 1000mg Leviteracetum. I would like to reduce it but the first step is to remain seizure-free for a year or so before trying. Last time I reduced my Tegretol I started having regular seizures. But I want to try again. Perhaps I need to “up” my cycling (!) as I only do a 5mile commute twice a day.
Good luck with the Fred Whitton, it sounds really tough. The last time I did anything like that was the 50-mile off-road Dartmoor Challenge five years ago. I remember it as it gave me such a buzz and I felt really good about myself afterwards.
