Hi all,
My name is Catharine, and I was diagnosed with epilepsy in August 2014. I have had a few tonic clonic seizures but mainly have focal seizures. I am currently taking Keppra which is not really controlling these, and I am hoping to try some new medication soon.
I am looking forward to seeing what the course offers, and hope to stop feeling annoyed/upset/embarrassed about my seizures – easier said than done! I hope to also learn more about epilepsy in general, and see what symptoms other people have and how they manage to deal with them.
