Hi my name is Stefan cooper i had my first first Tonic clonic seizer last December at the age of 41. I am slowly coming to terms with the idea that i will have epilepsy all my life. I think ive had epilepsy all my life looking back at whats happened since i was a teenager but never had the inclination or the diagnoses form the doctor that i had epilepsy. It has change my personality and i get anxious and stressed thinking about it. Luckily i have been offered some counceling so i can try and reduce my stress and anxiety. I never though that something like this coul happen to me pr my family. Hopefully the drugs i receive now are helping to control my seizures 5 weeks and counting. I know i have more to leaarn and wht can trigger my seizures so i am slowly getng to grip with my life now. I’m looking forward to completing the course so i can understand epilepsy alot better
