This session helped me to feel that I am not alone. There is complete understanding in what I’ve felt/am feeling and that gives me comfort. Its not that I wish this on others, its just nice to know that there is understanding. I have found working through my goals and feelings and achievements really helps me feel positive about my diagnosis and my ability to not let this define me. I am still me and I still intend to follow all my dreams and goals. I may have to make some adjustments to help be continue to be safe, so my boyfriend may have to take up pole dancing with me ….lol. I did have a emotional day yesterday and handed in my notice at work. However, my boss didn’t accept it and we talked through what was bothering me… I was over worked and very stressed. This caused me to feel low and anxious as we were very behind. I think that perhaps thats why I had mini seizures last night (along with possibly over heating). I was stressed and unhappy. I have made lots of steps to help my wellbeing. I have started yoga again, learning Spanish and have been reading about Wabi Sabi – Japanese wisdom. I take the dog out everyday and have taken steps to relieve the pressures of cooking every night in the week by making batch meals at the weekend when I am cooking the Sunday dinner. I am trying to bring the garden in to be able to enjoy that. Not literally in but outside my back door, I’ve created a bistro dinning area. I can sit and enjoy the sun rising and falling. I have jasmine trees growing and a whole host of herbs and along side a koi pond. I’m making changes to help me relax and enjoy life 🙂
