Hi
My name is Anne and I was diagnosed with Epilepsy 2 years ago.
I was a full time community sister which means I can no longer work as I cannot drive.
I am 64 years old and so I have left work as there was no other job for me to do which didn’t involve driving and at present I am still off sick as up to now my seizures aren’t under control and I have tried quite a few different types of medication which do not suit me.
I am doing this course to find out more about Epilepsy and myself.
I am so used to working that I have found it difficult not to.
I have taken up sewing and knitting and at present I love quilting.
My grand daughter is expecting her first baby any time now so I will be a great grand mother for the second time. She is also a nurse as well as my daughter so you could say nursing runs in the family. My mother and grand mother were also nurses.
