B: Epilepsy has sort of held me back in my life, especially my education. I had trouble at school…

D: “What made you wet your pants?” and “Why do you fall over?”, or something like that…

B: I was always sitting on the playground wall on my own, while the other kids played. I could never join in.

D: By the time your seven, or eight, or nine, the idea of wetting your shorts isn’t really, usually expected. But, of course, of an epileptic it is.

B: I used to run away from school quite a lot. I didn’t like school at all, but… I felt like there was no way for me to turn.
